GE Discovery CT750 HD
The world’s first high-definition CT offers improved imaging with less radiation dose per scan, providing doctors with superior tools for advanced diagnosis and treatment. The high definition picture provides a 33% boost in clarity, enabling physicians to see vessels as thin as a human hair with up to 83% less radiation exposure for cardiac scans and up to 50% less exposure for other body scans.
Siemens Ultrasound SC2000 and S3000
The Siemens ACUSON SC2000 is the top of the line cardiac ultrasound machine in the Siemens lineup with superior 2D, Doppler quality and unique cardiac 4D capabilities. The S3000 is a premium 4D OB/GYN ultrasound machine designed with a dedicated focus on General Imaging and Interventional Radiology. The system is Siemens' premium ultrasound system with unique solutions, such as elastography imaging, multi-modality review and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.
Olympus Endoscopy 290 System
The Olympus system sets new standards for endoscopy by focusing on advancing visualization and maneuverability. These advances mean more accurate diagnosis and treatment and minimal patient discomfort.
Gastroenterologists, specialists in diseases of the digestive system, use the Olympus Endoscopy system to diagnose and sometimes treat conditions that affect the esophagus, stomach and beginning of the small intestine (duodenum).
Gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy is a procedure where the physician is able to see the inside lining of a patient’s digestive tract. The procedure may be performed in either an outpatient or inpatient setting. Through the endoscope, a doctor can evaluate problems such as ulcers or muscle spasms. These concerns are not always seen on other imaging tests.
GI endoscopy is also known as colonoscopy for examinations of the colon, or large bowel. Colonoscopy is the best tool to help find ulcers, colon polyps, tumors and areas of inflammation or bleeding. Abnormal growths, if found, can be removed during the procedure. Colonoscopies can also be a useful screening test to check for cancer or precancerous polyps in the colon or rectum. Examinations of the small bowel are known as enteroscopy. This is a more recent diagnostic tool that allows the physician to diagnose and treat hidden GI bleeding, detect the cause for malabsorption, confirm problems seen on an x-ray, or locate and remove sores during surgery without damaging surrounding healthy tissue.
GE iDXA
The GE iDXA scanner provides high-resolution imagery for a variety of physical examinations including assessing bone density, fracture risk, body composition, and pediatric development.
A DXA scan, or DXA dual energy X-ray absorptiometry, is a means of measuring bone mineral density. The DXA scan is primarily used to diagnose and follow osteoporosis. DXA scans are recommended for women over the age of 65 and generally for men at age 70. At-risk women should consider getting a scan when their risk is equal to that of a normal 65-year-old woman.

X-Ray, Mammography and Ultrasound
Breast ultrasound examination and X-ray examination complement each other. Ultrasound can determine whether breast tumors are solid or cystic. Ultrasound can also recognize increased blood flow, which is an indicator of possible tumor growth. If a mass is found in a breast x-ray, further examination to determine its nature and to distinguish whether the mass is benign or malignant is critical.
Breast ABVS Full Volume Ultrasound
Breast ultrasound is non-invasive and often used as a follow-up test after an abnormal finding on a mammogram, breast MRI or clinical breast exam. VITUP uses a Siemens ACUSON S2000 ABVS, a highly advanced ultrasound system that plays a key role in breast cancer detection, particularly among high-risk patients. It provides comfortable imaging for women regardless of whether they’re asymptomatic or have a known history of breast disease or dense breast tissue. The ABVS is especially suited for diagnosis of exceptionally dense breast tissue thanks to its 3D image acquisition technology.
Peritoneal / Pelvic Ultrasound
Ultrasound is an important tool in the diagnosis of gynecological cancers, the assessment of tumor extent in the pelvic and abdominal cavity, and the evaluation of treatment effects as well as follow-up after treatment. Ultrasound is established as the method of choice for evaluating local extent of endometrial cancer and is the most important imaging method for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant ovarian tumors.
